Overview
JumpCloud Access Requests allows you to effortlessly configure approval flows that enable end users to submit access requests, while also providing you the ability to manage and approve these requests directly within the JumpCloud platform. By automating request and approval flows, JumpCloud Access Requests gives you greater control over how users gain access to the tools they need, thus improving efficiency and security.
Key Features
- Create Approval Flows (Admin): Admins configure approval flows that enable users to submit access requests.
- Assign User Groups (Admin): Admins can determine which user group can view approval flows and specify which group users will be added to once their request is approved.
- Assign Approvers (Admin): Admins can assign other admins and users as approvers to approve or deny requests.
- Create Access Requests (User): Users can quickly submit access requests directly from JumpCloud User Portal.
- Manage Approvals (Admin): Admins can approve or deny requests submitted by users.
- Manage Approvals (User): Users can approve or deny requests for approval flows where they are added as assigned approvers.

Prerequisites
- Create Users and User Groups. See Creating User Groups to learn more.
- Ensure users have their managers added under Users > Details > Employment Information. See Add Users to the Admin Portal to learn more.
- Ensure SSO applications and other resources such as Radius, LDAP are bound to specific user groups.
Roles in Admin Portal
Only users with Administrator or Administrator with Billing roles can create and manage approval flows, and handle access request approvals and rejections. Other users can submit resource requests only after an admin has configured the approval flows.
