JumpCloud's Alert Notifications system enhances the rule-based in-platform Device Monitoring and Alerting system by delivering critical notifications directly to your system and inbox through customizable channels. You can add specific URLs, email addresses or admin roles to define who you want to notify regarding critical alerts and and their related events.

Prerequisites
- You need to have your administrator roles properly defined and users assigned to those roles within your JumpCloud directory. See Manage Admin Accounts to learn more.
To create Notification Channels:
- Login to JumpCloud Admin portal.
- In the left navigation, click Settings.
- Go to Notification Channels.
JumpCloud lets you create the following notification channels:
- Email - Email channels enable you to get alert notifications delivered to specified email addresses or admin roles when a specific event occurs. See Create Email Channels to learn more.
