Manage Policies in the MTP

Managed Service Provider (MSP) Admins can view all of the policies they manage across all tenant organisations in the Multi-Tenant Portal (MTP). You can quickly import policies and policy group templates from across orgs to streamline policy management.

Prerequisites

• Ensure you have a few policies and policy groups set up and saved to the MTP across your orgs. See Adding Policy Groups to MTP to learn more.

To view policy group templates and policies in the MTP:

1. Login to your MTP.
2. Click the Policies tab to view the Policy Group Templates. 

Switch to the Policies tab to view all the policies available in the MTP. These are all the configured policies across different orgs that are available in the MTP and can be associated with different Policy Group Templates. 

Adding Policy Groups to MTP

You can create Policy Groups from any of your managed orgs and save them to the MTP. When you save Policy Groups to MTP, they are added to the MTP as Policy Group Templates. 

To create policy group templates to be imported to MTP:

1. In the MTP, click the Organizations tab to view all your managed orgs.
2. Click Launch to go to the managed org from where you want to add the policy group template.
3. In your managed org Admin Portal, go to DEVICE MANAGEMENT > Policy Management and create some policies that you want to be added to the policy group. See Creating a Policy to learn more.
4. Once you have created the policies as required, go to DEVICE MANAGEMENT > Policy Groups to create a policy group.
5. Click (+), then select Policy Group. 

6. On the Details tab, enter a name for the policy group. 
7. In Description, describe the purpose of this policy group.
8. Click the Policies tab, then select the policies you want to include in this group.
9. You can choose to assign the policy group to a device group later after saving the policy.
10. Click Save To MTP to add the policy group to MTP.

Once you click Save to MTP, the policy group is created and is saved in the MTP as a template in the Policy Group Template section of the MTP.
