Vault: Import Users

When you need to add a significant number of users to your Vault platform, importing them via a spreadsheet is a quick and efficient method. This saves you from having to add each user manually.

The process involves two main phases: preparing your user data in a spreadsheet and then uploading it to Vault.

Downloading the User Template

  1. Access your Vault platform.
  2. Go to the Administration > Users.
  3. Click on Import from Excel and select Download Template.
  4. Open the downloaded spreadsheet on your computer and fill it with the details of the users you wish to import. Ensure all required fields are correctly populated.

Uploading the Completed User Template

  1. Once your spreadsheet is complete and saved, go back to your Vault platform.
  2. Go to Administration > Users, click Import from Excel and select Import from template.
  3. Choose the filled spreadsheet file from your computer and click Open.
  4. Wait a few moments for the importation process to complete. Your users will then be added to Vault.
