macOS and Windows
Enhancements
- Administrators can now control Self Service App Catalog availability via policy. The tray app consistently reflects this policy to provide targeted software access for managed users.
macOS
Enhancements
- macOS Menu Bar App:
- Password status is now constantly visible, and the Reset Password action is more accessible, simplifying the process for users.
- The menu bar app now simultaneously displays password reset and Mobile Device Management (MDM) enrollment actions when both are pending. This ensures users complete all required device setup steps.
- Users can now edit TOTP MFA digits in any order during a password reset, improving code entry reliability and reducing failed reset attempts.
- Updated the password sync layout and messaging to provide a clearer, more consistent managed password experience.
Fixes
- Resolved an issue that caused repeated password confirmation prompts at login on macOS 26.6, preventing user lockouts.
Windows
Fixes
- Resolved an issue to ensure the password change timestamp does not update if the user's password has not actually changed, reducing the chance of accidental lockouts.
