JumpCloud Agent Release Notes for July 27, 2026

New Agent release (version  2.149.3)

Note:

Agent releases are rolled out over the course of the week. You may not see these changes right away. 

macOS and Windows

Enhancements

  • The JumpCloud Windows tray app and macOS menu bar app are now visible to users with local or Google password sources when the Self Service App Catalog is enabled. 
  • The Self Service App Catalog now only displays Winget (Windows) and macOS JumpCloud App Catalog apps. This filters out unsupported package manager types for a cleaner, more relevant app list.

Windows

Fixes

  • Resolved a login issue that occurred for local Windows users without a password set while using the updated login window.

Linux

Fixes

  • Resolved MFA behavior on the lock screen that occurred when upgrading from Ubuntu 24.04 to 26.04.
