JumpCloud Agent Release Notes for April 13, 2026

macOS and Windows

Enhancements

  • Agent user management behavior now respects whether an org uses delegated passwords.

Windows

Enhancements

  • Improved the tracking of managed user login and logout events, enhancing session lifecycle signals for operations and troubleshooting, particularly when diagnosing user session issues.

Fixes

  • Resolved an issue where password syncs could fail due to local Windows password history rules rejecting the change. Users can now complete JumpCloud password updates more reliably without needing to repeat resets.
  • The Windows tray app provides clearer, earlier warnings before a password expires. This includes a new visible alert on the icon and a default push notification, reducing lockouts and account recovery efforts.
