VaultOne: Use Labels to Organize Resources

Labels are a powerful way to organize your resources and make them easy to find, especially when your VaultOne platform is used by an entire company. Labels facilitate quick searches and help you categorize resources logically. All menus where resources are registered in VaultOne have the option to add labels.

For this guide, we'll use a credential as an example.

Adding labels

  1. Go to Credentials > Passwords.
  2. Choose the resource you want to label and click on its name.
  3. On the Settings screen, find the Tags field.
  4. Type your desired label (e.g., team-marketing or project-galileo).
  5. Press Enter to create the label.

Note:

Labels can contain more than one word and are not case-sensitive, so Marketing and marketing will yield the same results.

Searching Using Labels

Once you've created labels, you can use them to find your resources quickly.

  1. Type the label into the search field on the top of the screen.
  2. Press Enter.

The search results will display all resources that have been tagged with that specific label.
