Before making VaultOne available to your users, we recommend configuring the platform according to the best security practices.
Follow the steps below to ensure your environment is set up securely and efficiently.
- Go to the Administration > Settings and configure the following settings by tab:
User Management
- In the User Management tab, review and select the options that best fit your organization’s needs.
- For enhanced security, we recommend enabling the following settings per the below screenshot:
Security
- Select the Security tab.
- Select the recommended security options as shown below to maximize protection for your environment:
Backup
- Select the Backup tab.
- It is crucial to configure backups as soon as possible. This ensures that, in case of any instability, credentials can still be accessed offline.
Default Permissions
- Select the Default Permissions tab.
- Configure the default user permissions for resources - this helps standardize access and simplifies user management.
After completing all configurations, click Save to apply your changes.
