Troubleshoot: Repeating Command Execution Failure

Problem

Repeating commands configured to Run as Repeating may fail to execute at the expected time if the device is asleep during the scheduled window or for an extended duration.

Cause

This occurs because the JumpCloud Agent’s internal scheduler relies on system timers that pause when a device enters deep sleep. As a result, scheduled tasks that should run based on clock time may not trigger while the device is asleep.

Solution
