Cirrus Partners don’t expect their clients to use something they don’t use themselves, so they rolled JumpCloud out internally initially. They began by using the directory services and device agent to manage the local devices and it proved to be valuable they then began deploying to clients.

Evolution of JumpCloud

Over time JumpCloud expanded its offering, and this originally worried Cirrus Partners as they were concerned that it may cause issues as seen with other vendors, but they didn’t need to worry.  JumpCloud continued to improve features and this inspired a lot of confidence in the  JumpCloud platform. Cirrus Partners now use almost every part of JumpCloud and this has allowed them to remove some services they were using from other vendors. 

Users Just Get It

JumpCloud is a reliable solution for Identity and Access Management (IAM) for end users, it’s so simple for them to use that they want to use it and it offers them immediate benefits.  Presenting users with a single dashboard for applications while improving security and making their lives a lot easier than the alternative solutions.

Give it a go

Ben’s advice for users getting started with JumpCloud is simple, spin up a test tenancy and map out what you’re trying to achieve with JumpCloud, provision and test, test and test.  Do all of this before pushing out to customers.
