BOULDER, COLO. – Aug. 15, 2019 – JumpCloud® today announced the appointment of Kim Wachtel as vice president of growth engineering & customer experience to the quickly scaling company. Wachtel joins the impressive team of executives, including Toby Yoder, JumpCloud’s new vice president of worldwide sales who was announced earlier this month. She will be working alongside founders Rajat Bhargava, CEO, Larry Middle, chief financial officer, and Greg Keller, chief strategy officer.
Wachtel joined JumpCloud in February of 2018 as director of user experience, leading the development of a seamless experience for JumpCloud admins and users alike. With over 20 years of insight into all phases of the product development life-cycle, Wachtel’s goal was to design innovative experiences that flex to fit the technological needs of end users. Last January, Wachtel accepted the additional responsibility of managing growth engineering for JumpCloud.
“In addition to the success Kim has had with CX and growth, Kim’s leadership approach and style unite and inspire those she is working with, and brings out the best in us all at JumpCloud,” said Bhargava. “Kim has already been an active participant at the executive level and will continue to be one of the prominent leaders across the company.”
With a product-led growth model, Wachtel’s role is a critical one for JumpCloud. JumpCloud has decided to elevate growth engineering and customer experience to an executive level position due to the impact to the business and model. The ability for users to easily and quickly understand our product is paramount to customer retention and expansion.
“I get to work with passionate people at all levels of the company; we have great customers, and we have support to create delightful experiences in every customer interaction,” said Wachtel. “I’m excited to be part of an executive team that values product-led growth as a key strategy for growing our business and helping our customers succeed.”
Wachtel is planning to expand her team significantly with more engineers, designers, product managers, and more. Check out the JumpCloud careers page to learn more about all of the open positions.
