Last month, our JumpCloud Connect virtual series convened customers and partners from around the globe. From Wisconsin to Brazil, Nashville to Indonesia, the engagement was immediate, and the feedback was amazing. JumpCloud Connect is a live virtual forum where JumpCloud customers and partners can engage with JumpCloud leadership, sharing strategy and product feedback that shapes our roadmap.
The conversation in the chat was intense. You weren’t just attending; you were collaborating, sharing real-world workflows, comparing operational notes, and solving complex problems in real-time. Joe laid out his automation workflow using Make and Jira with our APIs. Stephen’s immediate query, “JumpCloud Workflow Automation when?” was a clear mandate. What we witnessed was a masterclass in operational excellence driven by collaboration.
The AI Conversation Got Real: The Pivot from Hype to Utility
The response to AI integration was, appropriately, spirited. And it was the exact discussion the industry needs to have.
Luke didn’t mince words about the noise surrounding AI hype, stating directly, “Please do not pollute your product with AI agents or other garbage.” Thoughtful points were raised across the board, particularly concerning security, compliance, and skills development. If AI writes all the scripts, how do we ensure teams maintain critical expertise? Nathan then provided the strategic pivot: “If you want to use AI for good, integrate with SaaS management and shadow IT detection to help surface what tools are using AI, especially when they are new to the environment.”
This is the kind of nuanced, strategic input that surveys simply cannot capture. Our focus, and our commitment, is to move the product forward by being intentional about where AI translates into unambiguous, operational value, rather than simply adding to the technological noise. We will not compromise the integrity of the platform for a buzzword.
The Human Side of IT: Our Co-Creators
Amidst the technical discussions, the moments that reinforced our foundation were powerful.
Stephen wrote: “I want to put it out there that I appreciate Raj & Greg staying so hands on with these discussions as the company has grown significantly.” He continued, emphasizing that our customers are the co-creators of this platform.
This sentiment was echoed by those who have already made the strategic decision to shift: “Left Okta for JumpCloud in 2018 and have never looked back,” as Dale put it. Jeff chimed in with the ultimate validation: “This is definitely the best tool in all of IT. Makes us look amazing.”
Scott took a moment to give “an enormous shout out to JC’s support folks. They’re Best of Breed and always have an amazing attitude.” Furthermore, Vladimir shared how JumpCloud “made our long path to ISO27001 much much much shorter.”
This reinforces the core mission: we build solutions to enable you to work smarter, faster, and better. We are not simply delivering a tool; we are providing the foundation that enables IT efficiency to translate directly into business advantage.
Every question, every criticism, every feature request represents a professional trying to advance their organization’s competitive posture. These sessions are essential because they ensure the engineering and business strategy remains aligned with the operational realities you face daily.
The Mandate for 2026: More Conversation, Not Less
Based on your feedback, future sessions will change. The demand for deeper discussion was clear—Nathan joked about three-hour sessions, but the point is valid: we need more time to dive into these critical topics. We are already building out a more comprehensive global schedule, spreading sessions throughout 2026 with better regional timing.
Thank you for choosing to invest your valuable time with us. The next stage of IT demands more collaboration, not less. We look forward to seeing you in a Connect session next year. Stay tuned for the schedule.
