About Doug
Doug has extensive information technology operations experience in manufacturing, financial services, and health care, as well as a deep consulting background in many more industries. He is adept in roles requiring diverse skill sets that allow him to function effectively in deeply technical roles while also serving as a project manager, a business process consultant, and a leader of technical teams. Doug began his career as a system administrator and web developer, and quickly moved into leadership and customer-facing roles.

Before cloud was a big thing, Brightworks were focused on getting their customers off premise and out of the infrastructure owning business. It became very clear early on that there was a need for a better directory solution that was able to facilitate this.
They were looking for something that supports Windows and MacOS
MacOS devices were entering the SME space, rather than turning away the work Brightworks embraced MacOS and looked for a tool to help them manage both that and Windows. They found JumpCloud and never looked back.
JumpCloud solved a whole host of problems
They didn’t look at JumpCloud for a single customer or problem, the aim was to use JumpCloud across their entire client base from day one and now bundle JumpCloud in their support offering.

With JumpCloud there is no need for their team to sit in front of the machine they are working on. JumpCloud gives them the tools to support clients they have never visited across the world in a way other solutions don’t. This also helps reduce downtime for clients.
