VaultOne provides comprehensive auditing tools to help you monitor website access and user activity. By analyzing logs, you can track who accessed specific websites, authentication events, and session details.
Requirements
- Ensure you have the necessary permissions to access audit logs and website connection records within VaultOne
Tracking Website Access
- To see who accessed a website, navigate to Administration → Audit Log
- Filter the log by the action GetLinkedUsers to view all events where users accessed websites through VaultOne.
Monitoring Authentication Events
Before accessing a website, users must authenticate with their credentials. To review these authentication events, filter the Audit Log by the action GetTokenZendesk.
Tip: Click the magnifying glass icon next to any log entry to view detailed information about the action, including the user, date, time, and other relevant details.
Viewing Connection Details and Session Recordings
For a detailed overview of website connections, including session times and video recordings (if enabled), follow these steps:
- Navigate to Websites → Actions → View → Connections → View More.
- On the Connections page, you can see:
- Who connected to each website
- The date and time of each connection
- Video recordings of sessions, if this feature is enabled
