When you need to add a significant number of credentials (typically 30 or more) to your VaultOne environment, manually adding each one can be time-consuming. VaultOne offers a convenient way to import them using a spreadsheet.
Importing Credentials
The process involves two main phases: preparing your data in a spreadsheet and then uploading it to the platform.
To prepare the spreadsheet
- Log in to your VaultOne platform.
- Go to Passwords and click on Excel Operations
- Select click here to download the provided template spreadsheet.
- Open the downloaded spreadsheet on your computer.
- Carefully fill in all the necessary credential information for each entry. Ensure the data is accurate and follows the format specified in the template.
To upload the spreadsheet
- In VaultOne, go to Passwords again.
- Click on Excel Operations and select Import from Excel.
- Select and Upload Your File:
- Choose the spreadsheet file you just prepared from your computer.
- The platform will then begin processing the import.
- Confirm Import:
- Your credentials should be successfully added to VaultOne within a few minutes.
