VaultOne: Enable Video Recording

If your subscription package includes this functionality, you can activate video recording for specific features within VaultOne.

Important Considerations

• The Record Video option will ONLY appear if the selected connector is on the Premium version
• If a user connects via RDP using the machine's native client, session recording will not be possible
• When accessing via SSH, it is possible to record the session whether connecting through the client or through the web browser

Selecting the Sessions You Want to Record (e.g. Servers)

1. Go to the Servers menu in your VaultOne platform.
2. Click Actions next to the specific computer where you want sessions to be recorded, then select Edit.
3. On the computer's editing screen, choose the Connector that you configured in Step 1 to store the recordings from the available dropdown menu.
4. Once the correct connector is selected, the Record Video option will become available.
5. At the bottom of the editing screen, select Record Video.
6. Click Save.

Now, every time this asset is accessed, its session will be recorded.
