Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a highly effective security measure that significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access, including brute-force attacks.
Enabling MFA
- Log in to VaultOne.
- Go to the Administration.
- Click Settings.
- In the Settings page, go to the Security tab.
- Select the Multi-factor authentication option to enable it.
Note:
You can further customize MFA settings based on your organization's specific security policies and needs.
- After enabling MFA, click Save all in the top right corner to apply the changes.
After enabling MFA, users will receive a unique, time-sensitive verification code via email when they log in to VaultOne. They must enter this code to complete the sign-in process. The code is only valid for 90 seconds.
