VaultOne: Add Computers or Servers

Follow these steps to add a new computer or server to your VaultOne environment and manage access securely.

Adding a New Computer or Server

  1. In the Computers menu, click Add Computer. This will open the registration screen.
  2. Fill in all the required information for the computer or server.
  3. Add the credentials that will be used to access this resource.
    • You can either create a new credential or select one that is already stored in your vault
  4. Select the Sharing tab to manage user access:
    • Add users who should have access to this computer or server
    • For each user, select their name and define their permissions: Manage, View Details, and/or Connect
    • Specify which credentials each user can use. You can also decide if users can only connect with the credential or if they are allowed to view the credential details
  5. After configuring all settings and permissions, click Save.

Now, the users you added will be able to see and access this computer or server in VaultOne according to the permissions you set.
