Troubleshoot: Restart The JumpCloud Password Manager Desktop App

This article covers how to restart the JumpCloud Password Manager desktop applications on both Windows and macOS operating systems.

Restarting the Desktop App (Windows)

  1. Locate JumpCloud Password Manager in the system tray of the Windows Device (bottom-right corner of the taskbar).
  2. Right-click the JumpCloud Password Manager Icon, and select Restart JC.
  3. The app is restarted and the issue should no longer persist.

Restarting the Desktop App (macOS)

  1. Locate JumpCloud Password Manager in the dock.
  2. Right-click the icon in the dock and select Quit.
  3. Relaunch the JumpCloud Password Manager application.
  4. The app is restarted and the issue should no longer persist.
