LOUISVILLE, Colo. – Feb. 11, 2020 – JumpCloud® today announced their global expansion into India. This marks the second international location opened by the company after the announcement of their Costa Rican office last year.
In 2019, JumpCloud raised additional funding from General Atlantic, expanded the leadership team, and announced plans to hire 200+ new employees. At the end of the year, the company moved into their new 29,000 square foot facility to accommodate their extreme growth. But as the growth continues in the U.S., more than half of the company’s revenue is coming from overseas.
“We want to create the best possible experience for our customers in and outside the U.S. market,” said Jim Burglin, senior director of customer support at JumpCloud. “The global team will help us fulfill our vision by serving our customers overseas during their workday, while allowing JumpCloud to tap into the global market for talent.”
The new office is located in Hyderabad, India, which has long been known as a hotbed of IT talent for large global conglomerates.
Late last year, members of JumpCloud’s engineering and customer success teams traveled to Hyderabad to onboard the newest members of the Indian team.
“We were in Hyderabad, India training our global support partners to manage and resolve customer issues,” said Andy Henderickson, escalations manager and former lead customer success engineer at JumpCloud. “This is exciting for JumpCloud as it leverages the wealth of talent in Hyderabad to serve our growing customer base in India. We now have the support resources ready to help.”
