JumpCloud Appoints Greg Keller to Chief Technology Officer

LOUISVILLE, Colo. – Mar. 4, 2020 – JumpCloud® today announced that Greg Keller has been appointed as the company’s new chief technology officer. In addition, the company is announcing the promotions of three of its critical engineering staff, Charley Pinkerton, Jared Cantwell, and Peter Gengler to new roles as chief architects. The appointments are a result of JumpCloud’s extensive product and engineering team scaling in Colorado and its global engineering hubs.

Prior to becoming CTO, Keller served in various executive leadership positions at JumpCloud, including running corporate strategy. Most notably, Keller was responsible for productizing and launching the company’s initial directory service product offering to market in 2014 as its first head of product. Keller is a career product visionary and executive management leader with over two decades of product management, product marketing, and corporate development experience ranging from startups to global organizations.

“In September 2014, we were a very small team in a small office who launched a product with an aggressive vision to disrupt one of the greatest monopolies in the software market,” said Keller. “Now, in 2020, with tens of thousands of organizations around the globe leveraging our Directory-as-a-Service every hour of every day, our much larger and growing team of passionate employees located around the world continues to push hard to deliver greatness to their customers. I am immensely proud to work side by side with these amazing people as we continue to execute on our goals.”

In his new role, Keller will focus on the product’s continued vision and the team’s development to provide increased levels of execution in ideation, partner integration, and delivery to market as the company’s product and engineering teams continue to scale globally.

An aspect of the new initiatives Keller will be employing at JumpCloud will be the creation of the company’s first Office of the CTO – a guild composed of visionary participants including both internal staff and progressive customers who will work collaboratively in charting JumpCloud’s future roadmap.
