Boulder, Colo. – December 16, 2013 – JumpCloud®, the first Directory-as-a-Service® platform, announced today that co-founder Rajat Bhargava has been appointed the new CEO. The company also announced a new corporate headquarters that will support its significant growth in customers and expected growth in employees and partners over the coming year. JumpCloud’s CEO, as well as its executive management team, engineering, sales and marketing will all be based at the new headquarters located at 2040 14th Street, Suite 200, Boulder, CO.
In just under three months, JumpCloud has added hundreds of small-to-medium sized enterprise customers since launching at TechCrunch Disrupt San Francisco last September. This growth is driving significant headcount expansion in engineering and sale, and is the catalyst for securing new office space. Located in the heart of Colorado’s startup hub in Boulder, the new offices will support the company’s aggressive focus on innovation and deep industry expertise in cloud and server management software.
“The opening of our new corporate headquarters marks an important day here at JumpCloud – it’s truly a culmination of the entire team’s hard work building out a superior product for the DevOps community,” said Rajat Bhargava. “Building on decades of industry expertise, we have been, and continue to be laser-focused on accelerating IT automation, as well as delivering tools that help our DevOps pros conquer the tedious day-to-day deliverables with remarkable speed and agility.”
JumpCloud’s new customers are all DevOps and IT pros who are utilizing JumpCloud to automate the server lifecycle of four critical steps: provision, configure, manage, and monitor. JumpCloud automates the critical areas of managing servers and saves DevOps and IT admins significant time managing users, patches, security, and compliance.
Some of JumpCloud’s new, notable users include:
- Clip Interactive, a company providing a new way for listeners to interact with radio broadcasts
- TapInfluence, a marketing software company for influencer content marketing programs
- Authentic8, a cloud-based container designed for secure, controlled access to web apps
- BounceIO, a company supporting a whole new model for email management and analytics
- MCProHosting, a leading provider of premium Minecraft server hosting
- VictorOps, a collaborative platform to increase situational awareness, incident creation, escalation, notification and remediation for DevOps teams
These organizations are prime examples of JumpCloud’s current and target customer base – growing companies looking to leverage DevOps and cloud-based automation software to manage their servers.
“Until JumpCloud, I lost several hours each week configuring my LDAP servers, and a whole bunch of other access control infrastructure,” said Ben Good, Director of Operations, Clip Interactive. “Now, I rely on JumpCloud to automate and manage that whole process, and for me, that is what DevOps is all about – how I can force-multiply my increasingly precious time by automating the tedious, but essential day-to-day tasks.”
According to Max Parris, Director of Operations at TapInfluence, “Using an automation tool like JumpCloud has saved me significant time, by helping to avoid the set up and administration of the traditionally complex infrastructure associated with access control.”
Les Dunston, Head of Operations for Authentic8 exclaims, “JumpCloud is simply excellent! The SSH key management…well, it’s sorely needed. It’s just awesome! And the SSH brute force detection functionality, we just love it.”
