Welcome to the September edition of the JumpCloud® Newsletter! This month we talk about the new Premium feature: System Insights™, User Portal session duration, SSO connectors, as well as macOS®Catalina™ support, Premium Support, and more! Introducing System Insights™!
Our new Premium feature, System Insights, is now available for all JumpCloud customers to explore and try! System Insights provides automated delivery of asset, security, and configuration data across your fleet of macOS, Windows® and Linux® machines. Admins can now gather and report on information about a system’s users, memory, performance, browser extensions, applications and a wide array of other data points for security, asset inventory, and compliance benchmark reporting.

macOS Catalina Support
With the release of macOS Catalina right around the corner, we’d like to let you know that the JumpCloud team has been hard at work to ensure that our Agent will maintain support as Catalina is released. We have been carefully following the Beta releases and have a few more items that we want to address. We anticipate full compatibility when Catalina is released. In the coming months, we’ll also be leveraging new Catalina features to help us improve your overall experience.

Configurable User Portal Session Duration
This new update allows admins to set the amount of time after which idle User Portal sessions expire. Admins can find User Portal Session Duration by going to Settings in the Admin Portal and clicking Security. With a configurable time period between 1 minute and 90 days, JumpCloud admins can alter their default time period as needed to provide convenience to their users, minimizing how often users need to log in to their User Portal and applications throughout their workday. New SAML Connections
The JumpCloud team has been rapidly expanding our SAML connector library to include more of the applications that our customers use regularly. This month, we’ve released connectors for over 40 popular applications into Beta. If you’d like to see all of the new connectors, you can find them on the Applications tab in the Admin Portal or in our release notes. We’re planning on releasing hundreds more over the coming months, so stay tuned!

Premium Support Update
Our Premium Support offering is now generally available. As a reminder, customers opting for Premium Support will receive priority support 24×7 via phone, email, or chat. Starting in October, we’ll be introducing uptime SLAs with monetary credits as well, providing even more value to our Premium Support customers.

With the 1.14.0 release of the JumpCloud PowerShell module, you can now manage JumpCloud RADIUS servers using the new functions:
These new commands can be paired with Add-JCAssociation and Remove-JCAssociation to manage user group access to your JumpCloud RADIUS servers. Find examples below for working with JumpCloud RADIUS servers using the JumpCloud PowerShell module.

JumpCloud + Aquera Partnership
JumpCloud recently joined efforts with Aquera to provide IT organizations with the ability to better use Directory-as-a-Service in tandem with HR platforms such as ADP or BambooHR and other identity management solutions like Okta and Azure AD.
By integrating Aquera’s SCIM Gateway Platform, IT organizations can source user information from HR platforms along with user and password mastering in other identity management tools. IT organizations can streamline onboarding by simply adding a user in their HR platform and through this integration automatically provision the user to JumpCloud. Further, end users can manage their passwords in any number of places and have those propagated to JumpCloud and all of the IT resources connected to JumpCloud.

Organizations can now make feature requests from within the JumpCloud Admin Portal. By clicking the Submit an Idea button on the Support tab, admins can share their thoughts on improving the JumpCloud platform. We’re excited to hear your ideas! And, as always, you can also submit your ideas through our Support site.
We’re Leveling Up!
JumpCloud is growing! This month, we have brought on 22 new employees, including 11 people in Engineering, Product, and Support. We are on track to bring on many more team members by the end of the quarter with the goal of continuing to improve the JumpCloud product with speed and excellence.
