BOULDER, Colo. – Sept. 12, 2019 – JumpCloud® today announced that Courtney Ebersole has been hired to launch the Learning & Development function. Ebersole will be a key member of the People team and is charged with driving learning programs and professional growth initiatives in every area of the company.
“JumpCloud is committed to building a learning organization where employees can grow and succeed in their careers,” said Larry Middle, co-founder of JumpCloud. “We’re focused on enabling new hires to succeed immediately with comprehensive onboarding programs. Further, we are building personal development programs for each JumpCloudian to enable their long-term growth.”
“JumpCloud isn’t your traditional startup, so we aren’t taking the old-school approaches to how we think about our team,” said Aaron Wilmot, JumpCloud’s vice president of people. “We believe deeply in every JumpCloudian’s ability to grow personally and professionally, and the strongest commitment to that belief was to break the mold and invest early in the learning and development function.”
JumpCloud understands that not only attracting but retaining extraordinary team members is the biggest challenge for any employer in today’s market. To launch team members off to an amazing start, Ebersole’s first push will be to create an orientation and onboarding experience that will set new employees up for success immediately. JumpCloud knows the benefits of a structured onboarding experience which include less turnover, increased satisfaction, and better performance.
“If you’ve known me for more than 30 seconds, you’ve heard my passion for company culture, seamless and branded onboarding, career development plans, learning paths, and the employee workplace experience,” said Ebersole. “Needless to say, I was over the moon to hear JumpCloud was shaking up the traditional HR mold with a significant investment in their people programs.”
