JumpCloud’s Channel Partners are at the forefront of providing essential IT services to businesses globally. In our interview series, we delve into conversations with these Channel Partners, exploring how JumpCloud plays a pivotal role in their operations.

In today’s feature, we had the opportunity to speak with Kunal Thacker of Shivaami.

About Kunal Thacker

Kunal is a VP at Shivaami, he heads the Northam region for Shivaami. Kunal is a technology enthusiast, he helps companies to enable Digital Transformation within their organisation. Kunal has been transforming work for traditional and Digital natives accounts from the past 10+ years in Shivaami.

Here are my key takeaways:

1.  Shivaami started with a vision

Shivaami was founded in 2004 when their founder saw a clear vision for growing cloud services and digital transformation. Now, by leveraging Google Workspace,  Google Cloud Platform and Google Chrome they have helped over 20,000 customers across APAC and North America and have been recognized by Google as their Partner of the Year for 4 consecutive years.

2.  AI is now a focus

Shivaami is already seeing AI as a driver for new business and is helping their customers to increase productivity by leveraging Gemini for Google Workspace in their environments. Initial fears that it would cause jobs to be lost appear to be unfounded and rather than replace jobs, it’s helping to enhance them.

3.  There is still plenty of opportunity

There are still many potential customers who, for several reasons, are yet to move their infrastructure to the cloud.  Some are in the process of doing so, but some will remain with a hybrid infrastructure and Shivaami is happy to work with clients like this.

4.  Too good to be true?

The first time Kunal heard about JumpCloud was from a friend who told him to take a look at the solution.  It seemed too good to be true and Kunal was skeptical until he began to explore the solution personally.  In the end it exceeded all expectations and this made it easy to position JumpCloud as a new solution to the Shivaami team.

5.  Customers love it

The integrated nature of JumpCloud has been a success for Shivaami, they have customers from the 100’s of seats into the 1000’s and the feedback has been great.  It allows their customers to manage their users regardless of the device or operating systems they are using.  It gives their end users access to the applications and data they need in a secure manner and because of the simple consolidated management, they can do it with fewer IT staff to manage.

Shivaami’s customers are invested in JumpCloud as a key solution to help them and are keen to deploy new features as they appear.

Thanks to Kunal for taking part in this chat.
