How long does it take to get through the learning paths?
  • JumpCloud Certified Admin learning path takes approximately 12 hours to complete with mandatory students taking an additional 5-6 hours to complete.
  • JumpCloud Advanced certification learning path takes approximately 12-15 hours to complete.
  • The Foundations of Troubleshooting JumpCloud for Your Clients certification learning path will take approximately 3 hours to complete.
  • JumpCloud Sales Professional certification learning path takes approximately 90 minutes to complete.
  • PAM Sales Professional certification learning path takes approximately 2 hours to complete.
How long will the certification exams take to complete?
  • JumpCloud Certified Admin: The final exam consists of 60 questions, and you’ll have 90 minutes to complete the timed exam.
  • JumpCloud Advanced certification: The final exam consists of 60 questions, and you’ll have 90 minutes to complete the timed exam.
  • The Foundations of Troubleshooting JumpCloud for Your Clients: The final exam consists of 35 questions, and you’ll have 60 minutes to complete the timed exam.
  • JumpCloud Sales Professional certification: The final exam consists of 20 questions, and you’ll have 40 minutes to complete the timed exam.
  • PAM Sales Professional certification: The final exam consists of 20 questions, and you’ll have 40 minutes to complete the timed exam.

 

Note: You have 3 attempts to pass these exams, and you cannot retake any exam twice within a 24 hour period.

 

Exams have a combination of multiple-choice, multiple select, fill-in-the blank, ordering & matching questions. Some questions award partial credit for partially correct answers. Upon successful completion of the exam, you’ll be awarded a Credly verifiable digital badge. Certificates can be downloaded from the course once passed.

How long are the practice exams?
  • JumpCloud Certified Admin: The practice exam consists of 60 questions, and you’ll have 90 minutes to complete the timed exam.
  • JumpCloud Advanced certification: The practice exam consists of 60 questions, and you’ll have 90 minutes to complete the timed exam.
  • The Foundations of Troubleshooting JumpCloud for Your Clients: The practice exam has 35 questions, and you’ll have 60 minutes to complete the timed exam.
  • JumpCloud Sales Professional certification: The practice exam has 20 questions, and you’ll have 40 minutes to complete the timed exam.
  • PAM Sales Professional certification: The practice exam consists of 20 questions, and you’ll have 40 minutes to complete the timed exam.

 

Note: There are no restrictions on re-taking the practice exams.

Is there an associated fee to take either certification?

All certification exams are freely available to our JumpCloud partner accounts.

If I fail the first time, how many attempts do I have?

You have a total of 3 attempts to pass either assessment. If you fail, we only ask you wait 24 hours before retaking the exam. If you fail upon your third and final attempt, we ask that you email our team at [email protected] to request an additional attempt.

Are your certifications verifiable through Credly?

Yes! We offer our partners free access to a Credly account where you can share your newly acquired skills on your professional networks. Learn more about Credly.

Do the certifications expire?
  • JumpCloud Certified Admin certification is valid for 2 years.
  • Advanced certification is valid for 3 years.
  • Foundations of Troubleshooting for Your Clients is valid for 2 years.
  • JumpCloud Professional Sales certification is valid for 2 years.
  • PAM Sales Professional certification is valid for 2 years.
