Putting an Emphasis on Customer & Partner Education: JumpCloud® Builds Out Training Program

“When our customers & partners are successful, we are successful.”

BOULDER, Colo. – Oct. 2, 2019 – JumpCloud® today announced the addition of Nicole Petruccione, senior customer and partner training specialist, to build the company’s customer and partner education program. Petruccione joins Courtney Ebersole – who is leading JumpCloud’s Learning & Development function – as the two JumpCloud leaders focused on training and education for the entire JumpCloud community.

Customer and partner education programs have gained immense popularity in the last 5 years, and are still in their infancy compared to traditional learning & development methodologies. JumpCloud is a product-led growth (PLG) company with growing consumer awareness and desire for users to learn and solve problems on their own. It’s extremely important to enable users with general IT best practices, category information, and specific product knowledge for their success and for JumpCloud’s. Focusing on customer and partner education ensures that JumpCloud users maximize the ROI of their time and effort deploying JumpCloud’s cloud directory platform.

“Good product training includes both the ‘how’ and the ‘why’; it shouldn’t be one or the other,” said Petruccione. “For example, our customer onboarding training helps IT admins configure their infrastructure faster and with more confidence. We can show them the quickest way from point A to point B, which saves time, headaches of learning a new product, and ultimately money.”

Petruccione has worked in SaaS for 10 years in industries like email marketing, web hosting, and HR/recruiting. She has spent nine of those years in training, primarily for end users, and has a wealth of knowledge in adult education for in-person and online learning, including instructional design, facilitation, and program management.

“We are excited to have Nicole join JumpCloud and to have her lead the charge in building this program for our customers and partners,” said Jim Burglin, senior director of customer support.

Not surprisingly, customer and partner education becomes a critical need during this phase of growth for many companies. It’s a unique opportunity for Petruccione to impact the foundation of JumpCloud’s training programs and set the company up for scalable success.

“I’m excited to be at JumpCloud because we’re at the forefront of technology trends,” said Petruccione. “We’re meeting a need at the right time in the evolution of the cloud in general and more specifically, directory services. The company and product adoption are at a high growth stage and I’m ready to help accelerate that further.”
