Windows 10 Support is Live!

The JumpCloud product team is happy to announce its support for Window 10! JumpCloud’s agent has been tested against the beta, release candidate and production releases and is ready for download through the JumpCloud Admin Console. JumpCloud’s agent-based approach to system management will enable administrators to do the following with Windows 10 systems:

  • Create, modify, and disable local user accounts and group objects.
  • Execute arbitrary commands through JumpCloud’s Command Execution Facility in the JC Admin console. These commands can be executed one time, on a schedule, as the result of receiving a Webhook trigger, or as the result of an event, such as a new user being added or deleted.

Along with Windows 10, JumpCloud’s agent currently supports the major Linux (32/64 bit), Mac OS X (64-bit) and Windows Desktop and Server (64-bit) distros, including:

  • Microsoft Windows Server – 2008 and 2012
  • Microsoft Windows – 7, 8, 8.1, and 10
  • Mac OS X – 10.8, 10.9 and 10.10
  • Ubuntu – 10.04, 12.04, 12.10, 13.04, 13.10, and 14.04
  • CentOS – 5.0 to 5.9, 6.0 to 6.5, 7
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) – 5.0 to 5.9, and 6.0 to 6.5, 7
  • Amazon® Linux – 2013.09 and later
  • Debian – Squeeze (6.0) and Wheezy (7.0)
