The folks at ScaleXtreme were just acquired by Citrix earlier this week and they also announced that they would end-of-life (EOL) their product. Existing ScaleXtreme customers, it appears, have 45 days from the date of the transaction to find substitute services. For those customers that were leveraging ScaleXtreme’s patching and command execution services, JumpCloud’s Directory-as-a-Service® product would be a natural fit.
JumpCloud’s cloud-hosted directory functionality includes the ability to execute commands and scripts across their entire server infrastructure. Here are some of the other key tasks that our command execution technology enables: managing privileged users on Windows and Linux servers (as well as general user management across systems, applications, and networks), patching, monitoring for brute force attacks and malicious commands, and managing compliance. And be sure to check out Directory-as-a-Service feature Windows user management.
