Last week, team JumpCloud® moved into its beautiful new office space at 2040 Spruce St, Suite 200, just off Pearl Street Mall in Boulder and right next door to the Boulder Theater. We’ve now got our office in some semblance of reasonable shape, and it’s a wonderful, good-looking space where we can be proud to bring customers. There’s still work to do to make it homey, but it’s got great potential.
By contrast, our previous office was in the soon-to-be-demolished former Daily Camera building, this incarnation was built in 1963, and which was home to the Boulder Daily Camera for 119 years before the Daily Camera moved out in 2010. It was a classic building which had clearly seen better days. With no carpeting, windows that wouldn’t close (and hence dust and grit covering most everything), and a freight elevator that would frequently trap its passengers between floors, it had plenty of charm, but couldn’t exactly be called homey. It was great for our needs as a brand new start up getting off the ground: it was just meat and potatoes, cheap space (and that’s a rarity in Boulder, especially on Pearl street) and served us well for about a year.
We’re still getting set up: we’ve got wires everywhere, no wall or window coverings, and no plants, but we’re going to get those things addressed quickly.
Our snazzy new conference room. We love our JumpCloud blue…
…for when we need to take a break…
…mini Spider Man protects our engineering team from big, bad, product managers looking to add more stories to their tracker (he’s not very good at it).
Good Work, Good Times Ahead Thanks to JumpCloud’s New Groove
We’re looking forward to having a lot of fun here, building out our world-class SaaS-based Directory-as-a-Service® platform in and for the cloud. This space should meet our needs for some time to come, and when we run out of space…we’ll move on to something even bigger and better!
