JumpCloud is kicking off a new AWS meetup group for the Boulder-Denver area. We’d like to have a monthly meeting (we’ve initially chosen the last Tuesday evening of each month) and alternate them between Boulder and Denver so that we can be accessible to the largest possible group in the area. We’re hosting the first meeting at the end of January in Boulder. We’ll shoot for the one after to be at the end of February in the Denver area. Details of the first meetup are below:
Topic: Securing your AWS infrastructure by Gerrit Padgham (Principal, Electric Alchemy)
Tuesday, January 28, 2014
6pm – 8pm (6pm – food and drinks; 6:30 – 7:30pm speaker; 7:30 – 8pm, Q&A and discussion)
2040 14th Street, Suite 200, Boulder, CO 80302
We’d welcome help and support in making the meetup a valuable community driven event. If you have ideas for topics, would like to host a meeting, or are willing to sponsor an event, please drop us a note and let us know. Also, we would appreciate folks getting the word out by forwarding this email, tweeting it, and posting it to their LinkedIn and Facebook accounts.
JumpCloud is building its Directory-as-a-Service® platform for AWS users among other constituencies. JumpCloud’s cloud-based directory service enables IT admins to easily manage user access to their AWS infrastructure and their on-prem systems, cloud applications, LDAP-based apps, WiFi, and more.
Thanks, and look forward to hearing from you.
