We’re very excited to announce that we closed our Series A round from Foundry Group and Bullet Time Ventures (BTV). Brad Feld led the round on behalf of Foundry and David Cohen on Bullet Time’s side. As many of you already know, Brad and David are amazing investors and even better humans. They’ve spent a lot of time over the last year working with JumpCloud® and we’re thankful for their support.

DevOps and IT admins have a problem. They have too much stuff to do and not enough time. We’ve heard that consistently for years and we wanted to do something about it. Developers and ops folks should be focused on innovating for their company’s, not executing on rote, mundane tasks. JumpCloud’s goal is to give developers and ops personnel time back to do what they love – work on their products. We want to automate the manual tasks of managing servers. Yes, these tedious but essential tasks can be automated!

The folks at Foundry and BTV recognized and got behind our business goals and mission from the very start. They’d experienced the pain themselves and understood it from the portfolio companies they work with. That’s why they are ideal partners and we’re so excited to have them on this journey with us. Their experience, expertise, and support will help us as we build an awesome company, team, and product.
