DevOps.com today announced their Board of Advisors – a group of top notch IT professionals. We are proud to announce that our CEO, Rajat Bhargava, was asked to join the board and he’s accepted. DevOps.com founders, Alan Shimel and Martin Logan, are committed to building an amazing DevOps community through education and events. As part of that they have reached out to a number of leaders in the field to tap them for their advice and counsel. They’ve done an impressive job adding amazing people to their board including:
- Gene Kim – renowned DevOps Author and expert
- Sean Charnock – co-founder SoftLayer Technologies
- David Cohen – CEO of TechStars
- Media insiders Tony Bradley, Ericka Chickowski, and George Hulme
It’s an impressive group, and our CEO is honored to be a part of it. More than anything, though, we are excited to support the mission of creating a world-class education and events company to advance DevOps. JumpCloud is a huge proponent of the DevOps methodology and as a result anything that can advance the mission of DevOps is positive for the community. In fact, JumpCloud has been practicing DevOps from inception of its next generation cloud identity management platform. It was a necessity because we wanted to iterate quickly on our vision to build the first Directory-as-a-Service® platform. That platform has since evolved from just a server user management system to a broad-based cloud directory service including cross-platform centralized user management, virtual LDAP support, SSO, RADIUS-as-a-Service, MFA, device management, and more. It will be fun to watch and support DevOps.com as they try to be the nexus point for all things DevOps.
