AWS Meetup: How Gnip Leverages at Scale

By Rajat Bhargava Posted March 17, 2014

The next AWS Boulder-Denver Meetup is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25th at the JumpCloud offices in downtown Boulder. Scott Engstrom, VP of Operations at Gnip, will be speaking and will detail how they leverage AWS at scale. If you’re not familiar with Gnip, it is the world’s largest provider of social data. Gnip was the first authorized provider of the full Twitter feed and now has numerous data sources including Tumblr, Foursquare, and others.

In this meetup, learn how Scott and the Gnip team deal with the fire-hose of data that they are receiving real-time.

Why did we choose Scott as our speaker? Well, Gnip is operating at pretty significant scale and there is a lot for us to learn from them. We thought it would be great for all of us to learn from Scott’s successes and lessons learned.

The AWS Boulder-Denver meetup is hosted and sponsored by JumpCloud. JumpCloud’s Directory-as-a-Service® platform supports managing AWS cloud servers via its user management functionality. Both Windows and Linux servers on AWS can be managed for user access as well as tasks. JumpCloud’s SaaS-based cloud directory service can function as a hosted LDAP solution, central user management, RADIUS-as-a-Service, and more.

Register to attend How Gnip Leverages AWS at Scale on Tuesday, March 25th.

We hope that you can join us and looking forward to seeing many of you here at the JumpCloud Offices!
