JumpCloud® does have training — we launched JumpCloud University to give people who are evaluating or using Directory-as-a-Service® the tools they need to succeed with the platform and optimize their identity and access management stack.
The free online education hub features sets of courses both for IT administrators on internal teams and for managed service providers (MSPs). We believe knowledge should not come at a cost, and we hope to encourage a new generation of admins to learn about cloud directory services and the value they offer to organizations.
Exploring JumpCloud University
JumpCloud is a comprehensive cloud directory service that organizations use to connect users to their IT resources and to configure and secure their devices. Many of the JumpCloud University courses focus on how to implement and use the platform, including importing and creating users, establishing cloud LDAP and RADIUS, setting up SSO, and more. A subset of courses are geared toward our MSP partners to position and implement JumpCloud for their clients. In the process, you’ll also learn IT best practices, time-saving workflows, and ways to implement security measures like multi-factor authentication (MFA) across your organization’s access points.
Resources are presented in a variety of formats — videos and webinars, guided simulations, related Knowledge Base articles, flashcards, and quizzes — so you can tailor your experience to the way you learn. Courses are flexible and self-paced, and you can take them in any order. They generally take between 15 minutes and two hours to complete, but you can opt for quicker lessons in our tutorial video series, each of which are three minutes or shorter.
Learn By Doing with Training & the Platform
Although some vendors charge for their courses, we provide our courses for free because doing so aligns with our philosophy of providing our entire platform, including premium functionality, free for up to 10 users and 10 systems. We believe that admins learn by doing and by testing solutions, and we want to provide as much insight and information for you to determine whether JumpCloud is the right solution for your organization’s needs.
