Read this article to learn more about the benefits and use cases for each one and how they can be used together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Differences<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The following are key differences between the Microsoft 365 Directory Integration and Microsoft 365 SAML connector:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Microsoft&nbsp;365 Directory Integration<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Is an OAuth2-based integration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enables user provisioning, attribute management, and user suspension in JumpCloud&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lets users log in to Microsoft 365 directly<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Requires Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) configuration in Microsoft<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establishes JumpCloud as the password authority once users log in to the JumpCloud User Portal; whenever the user password or attributes change in JumpCloud, JumpCloud updates Microsoft 365<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Microsoft 365\/Entra ID SAML Connector<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Is a SAML 2.0-based integration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Users are managed in JumpCloud.
