The JumpCloud Directory Platform centralizes user management for virtually all of the resources at play in your organization \u2014 via a single set of credentials. You can manage and view information about your organization\u2019s end users from the Admin Portal Users list. Read this article to learn more about how you can use the Users list. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finding the Users List<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can find the Users list from the Admin Portal\u2019s left menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To find the Users List<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Log in to the JumpCloud Admin Portal<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Go to USER MANAGEMENT <\/strong>> Users<\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Searching for a User<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Use the search bar or a filter to make it easier to find the users you\u2019re looking for. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Search Bar<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If there\u2019s a specific user you\u2019re interested in viewing, search for them from the search bar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    To find a user using the search bar: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Log in to the JumpCloud Admin Portal<\/a>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Go to USER MANAGEMENT <\/strong>> Users<\/strong>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. In the Search<\/strong> bar, enter one of the user\u2019s attributes, like email, first name, or employee ID. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      When you\u2019re done with your search, click the ( x<\/strong> ) in the search bar to clear it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Filter By<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Need to see whose password is about to expire or which users aren\u2019t required to use multi-factor authentication? Use a filter to see every user who has a status you\u2019re interested in. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      To add a filter to your Users List<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Log in to the JumpCloud Admin Portal<\/a>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Go to USER MANAGEMENT <\/strong>> Users<\/strong>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Click filter by<\/strong>, then select the filters you want to use. You can include as many filters as you\u2019d like. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        When you\u2019re done with a filter, click ( x<\/strong> ) in the search bar to clear it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Using the More Actions Menu<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        The more actions<\/strong> menu lets admins enable actions across one or more users from the list view. The more actions<\/strong> menu is inactive until one or more users are selected. After users are selected, you can use the more actions<\/strong> menu to update account status\u2019, manage MFA requirements, or resend activation emails.         Customizing the Users List View<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        By default, the Users List shows five columns: Status, Name, Email, TOTP MFA status, and Password Expiry. You can\u2019t remove a user\u2019s status and name from the list view, but you can customize the other columns to show the information you want to see. For example, instead of showing email, use the columns<\/strong> feature to show users\u2019 system usernames or locations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

        To customize the Users List View<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Log in to the JumpCloud Admin Portal<\/a>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Go to USER MANAGEMENT <\/strong>> Users<\/strong>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. In the top right, click columns<\/strong>, then select the information you want to show. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          1. To close the list, click columns<\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            If you ever want to go back to the default Users List view, you can at any time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

            To change the Users List view back to the default<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            2. Go to USER MANAGEMENT <\/strong>> Users<\/strong>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
            3. Click columns<\/strong>, then click Revert to default columns<\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

              Exporting the Users List<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

              Use the export<\/strong> feature in the Users List view to export all of your user information for audits, compliance, or troubleshooting reports. The export<\/strong> feature lets you export to either CSV or JSON. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

              To export your Users list<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              1. Log in to the JumpCloud Admin Portal<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              2. Go to USER MANAGEMENT <\/strong>> Users<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              3. In the top right, click export<\/strong>, then select either Export JSON<\/strong> or Export CSV<\/strong>. Your list of users is exported into the format of your choice and is saved as jcuserlist_yyyymmdd.<filetype>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                Directory Activity<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

                The Directory Activity widget shows the top events from Directory Insights that are specific to that user. The Directory Activity shows events for features that are enabled for the org. If your org isn\u2019t using RADIUS, for example, there aren\u2019t any RADIUS events listed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                Depending on the features you\u2019ve enabled, here are the available Directory Insights events and criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
