JumpCloud\u2019s automated patch management helps you monitor which version and release your Windows, macOS, and Linux devices are currently using, and remotely manage update availability and the installation of those updates. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

An OS patch management policy can control when devices can see available OS upgrades and minor updates and how long an update can be deferred. Don\u2019t apply multiple patch policies to a device. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enables you to defer the availability of OS release upgrades (for example, upgrading from 18.04 to 20.04), as well as restrict updates to only LTS releases. It provides functionality equivalent to the Software and Updates desktop program on the device, plus the additional ability to delay OS release upgrades.
