JumpCloud supports User Enrollment for iOS and iPad devices, but not for iPod or tvOS devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Considerations<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Apple&#8217;s Stolen Device Protection, when activated, prevents new MDM enrollments of any kind as a preventative measure. Deactivate the feature temporarily to allow users to enroll in MDM. You can turn Stolen Device Protection back on after the device has been enrolled.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card warning\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/warning-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Warning:<\/strong> \n<p>Users of enrolled personal devices need to be made aware that, in rare cases and for security reasons, the Admin can remove the enrollment and any resources that depend on the enrollment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To allow a user to enroll a personal iOS or iPadOS device<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to the <a href=\"https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com\/login\/admin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">JumpCloud Admin Portal<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to&nbsp;<strong>DEVICE MANAGEMENT<\/strong>&nbsp;&gt;&nbsp;<strong>MDM<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Apple<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scroll to the <strong>iOS Enrollment<\/strong> section. Under <strong>Personal Device Enrollment<\/strong>, select the option to&nbsp;<strong>Allow users to enroll personal mobile devices and access Enroll Your iOS Device in the User Portal<\/strong> to enable users to enroll their devices from the JumpCloud User Portal. To change the default group, assign the enrolled devices to another device group, and then delete it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the default device group you select is configured to update group membership dynamically, ensure that the group&#8217;s membership rules are compatible with the devices you&#8217;re expecting to auto-enroll.
