The ConnectWise Manage integration is used to integrate ConnectWise Manage with the Multi-Tenant Portal (MTP). This MTP integration keeps Managed Service Provider (MSP) Admins informed on costs and product usage, and provides alerts on actionable incidents in JumpCloud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>ConnectWise Manage Prerequisites<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Create a security role with only the permissions needed for the integration.\n<ul>\n<li>This will minimize any risk if the keys were to be accessed by unauthorized parties.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create an API member to assign to the security role you just created.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Generate API keys from the API member.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You need the ConnectWise Manage base URL and your Company ID used to log in.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This integration works by mapping your JumpCloud organizations to your ConnectWise Companies, and specifying the Agreement and Product Addition you use to represent your JumpCloud product in your catalog. This means that for every company you want to synchronize, you need:\n<ul>\n<li>An active Agreement assigned to the Company<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Product Addition assigned to the Agreement that represents the JumpCloud product<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Considerations<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Since JumpCloud uses the \u201cHigh Water-Mark\u201d for billing, the Quantity field will be updated with the current High Water-Mark for the month, and the Cost per Seat will be updated with your current cost per seat for the \u201cmapped\u201d JumpCloud Organization.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Updates occur daily at 12 PM EST, you may have to check back the next day for the integration to appear after it\u2019s been configured.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a><strong>Prepare the ConnectWise Manage Integration with JumpCloud<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a><strong>To create a new security role<\/strong>:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to your ConnectWise Manage account and go to&nbsp;<strong>System<\/strong>&nbsp;&gt;&nbsp;<strong>Security Roles<\/strong>, then click the \u2018<strong>+<\/strong>\u2019 to create a new security role.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Name the role and assign the proper permissions to access Companies, Agreements, and Additions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on&nbsp;<strong>Companies<\/strong>&nbsp;&gt;&nbsp;<strong>Company Maintenance<\/strong>, then under the&nbsp;<strong>Inquire Level<\/strong>, select the dropdown menu option&nbsp;<strong>All<\/strong>&nbsp;instead of None.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on&nbsp;<strong>Finance<\/strong>&nbsp;&gt;&nbsp;<strong>Agreements<\/strong>, under&nbsp;<strong>Edit Level<\/strong>, select the dropdown menu option&nbsp;<strong>All<\/strong>&nbsp;instead of None. Then under&nbsp;<strong>Inquire Level<\/strong>, select the dropdown menu option&nbsp;<strong>All<\/strong>&nbsp;instead of None. to&nbsp;<strong>Members<\/strong>&nbsp;&gt;&nbsp;<strong>API Members<\/strong>, then click the \u2018<strong>+<\/strong>\u2019 to create a new API Member. &nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fill out the required information for the member, then under&nbsp;<strong>System<\/strong>&nbsp;&gt;&nbsp;<strong>Role ID*<\/strong>, select the security role that you created in the previous section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the save icon at the top.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a><strong>To generate API Keys<\/strong>:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Under&nbsp;<strong>System<\/strong>, go to&nbsp;<strong>Members<\/strong>&nbsp;&gt;&nbsp;<strong>API Members<\/strong>, select the JumpCloud Member API you created in the previous section. Go to&nbsp;<strong>API Keys<\/strong>&nbsp;and click the \u2018<strong>+<\/strong>\u2019 to generate a new key.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add a&nbsp;<strong>Description<\/strong>&nbsp;and click the save icon at the top.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once saved, it generates a&nbsp;<strong>Public Key<\/strong>&nbsp;and a&nbsp;<strong>Private Key<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card notification-card warning\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/warning-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><p><strong>Warning:<\/strong> Store the Private Key in a secure place for future reference. You won\u2019t be able to view this key again later. <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a><strong>To ensure there are corresponding Agreements and Product Additions for mapping company data<\/strong>:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>In the left navigation menu, click on&nbsp;<strong>Companies<\/strong>&nbsp;and select the Company you want to edit from the list.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on&nbsp;<strong>Agreements<\/strong>, and select the one you want to view the Additions for.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on&nbsp;<strong>Additions<\/strong>&nbsp;and make sure you have a JumpCloud Product addition listed.&nbsp;This allows you to map to this addition in the MTP.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card notification-card note\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/note-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><p><strong>Note:<\/strong> You can either update the product line item that is billed to the customer, or you can create another product addition that isn\u2019t billable, so that you reach the high watermark or monthly user count, along with price per seat.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a><strong>To set up Automatic Ticketing in your ConnectWise Manage Account<\/strong>:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to your ConnectWise Manage account and go to&nbsp;<strong>System<\/strong>&nbsp;&gt;&nbsp;<strong>Security Roles<\/strong>, then click the \u2018<strong>+<\/strong>\u2019 to create a new security role.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Name the role and assign the proper permissions to access Companies, Agreements, and Additions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on&nbsp;<strong>Companies<\/strong>&nbsp;&gt;&nbsp;<strong>Company Maintenance<\/strong>, then under the&nbsp;<strong>Inquire Level<\/strong>, select the dropdown menu option&nbsp;<strong>All<\/strong>, instead of&nbsp;<strong>None<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on&nbsp;<strong>Finance<\/strong>&nbsp;&gt;&nbsp;<strong>Agreements<\/strong>, under&nbsp;<strong>Edit Level<\/strong>, select the dropdown menu option&nbsp;<strong>All<\/strong>.&nbsp;Then under&nbsp;<strong>Inquire Level<\/strong>, select the dropdown menu option&nbsp;<strong>All<\/strong>.
