After you add an Admin, you can view their details and perform a variety of other actions like requiring Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), suspending\/restoring accounts, and resetting passwords.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prerequisites<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You need to have the MTP enabled for your MSP org to use it. To get the MTP for your MSP org, please contact your Partner Account Manager and make sure to provide the following info:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>The org IDs for each managed org you want to add to your MSP org&#8217;s MTP. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The email addresses of the JumpCloud Admin accounts you want to make Admins for your MSP org&#8217;s MTP. These accounts must be created (by you) and registered (by the Admin account owner) prior to being added to your MSP org&#8217;s MTP.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card note\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/note-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Note:<\/strong> \n<p>If you&#8217;re not a partner, contact partners@jumpcloud.com.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Considerations<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>All Admin accounts for your MSP org&#8217;s MTP have access to all of your MSP managed orgs.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The MTP supports&nbsp;granular permissions; you can restrict access to specific orgs per MSP Admin account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Existing orgs aren\u2019t automatically added to your MSP org&#8217;s MTP when it\u2019s activated. You need to ask&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/contact\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">JumpCloud Support<\/a>&nbsp;to add existing org&#8217;s to your MSP org&#8217;s MTP.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Admin accounts for your MSP org&#8217;s MTP are automatically given access to orgs created in the MTP.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When creating a new admin, API access will be disabled by default.\n<ul>\n<li>Only Admins with Billing Role can enable this. See <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/manage-admin-accounts#creating-jumpcloud-admins\">Manage Admin Accounts<\/a> to learn more. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-adding-an-admin\"><strong>Adding an Admin<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To add an Admin to your MTP<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to the <a href=\"https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com.\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MTP<\/a>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the&nbsp;<strong>Administrators<\/strong>&nbsp;tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the&nbsp;plus&nbsp;icon (&nbsp;<strong>+<\/strong>&nbsp;).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the&nbsp;<strong>Details<\/strong>&nbsp;tab, enter a&nbsp;<strong>First Name<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Last Name<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Administrator Email Address*<\/strong>&nbsp;for the new Admin.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Note<\/strong>:&nbsp;You must specify an email address before you can save an Admin.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Toggle&nbsp;<strong>Multi-Factor Authentication&nbsp;<\/strong>on or off.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Note<\/strong>:&nbsp;If MFA is required for an MSP Admin account, the Admin&nbsp;will be required to provide a TOTP token with their account credentials on their next login.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the&nbsp;<strong>Permissions &amp; Access&nbsp;<\/strong>tab, click the&nbsp;<strong>Permissions&nbsp;<\/strong>dropdown menu and select the&nbsp;<strong>Role*<\/strong>&nbsp;you want to assign to the Admin. \n<ul>\n<li>See&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/manage-admin-roles-in-mtp\">Manage Admin Roles in the MTP<\/a> to learn more.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>API key access is disabled by default for all new Admins. Select&nbsp;<strong>Enable API access<\/strong>&nbsp;to allow the Admin to generate their own key.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the&nbsp;<strong>Organization Access<\/strong>&nbsp;field, select the orgs you want to give your Admin access to.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Save<\/strong>. You can now view details for this Admin account on the&nbsp;<strong>Administrators<\/strong>&nbsp;tab.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-viewing-details-for-your-mtp-admins\"><strong>Viewing Details for Your MTP Admins<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To view details for MTP Admins<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to the <a href=\"https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com.\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MTP<\/a>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the&nbsp;<strong>Administrators<\/strong>&nbsp;tab.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The following details are shown for admin accounts<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Name<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; The Admin\u2019s first and last name.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Email<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; The Admin\u2019s account email address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Role<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; The Admin&#8217;s role\/permission level.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Organizations<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; The orgs your Admin can access.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Status<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; The Admin\u2019s account status; either active, pending, or suspended.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>API Key Access<\/strong> &#8211; If the Admin has access to generate and use an API key or not. Hover over the status to see what it means. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>MFA: Requirement<\/strong> &#8211; Whether the Admin is required to use MFA; status is either Required or Not Required<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>MFA: Enrollment<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; Whether the Admin has taken the first step to enroll in MFA; status is either Enrolled or Not Enrolled<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-editing-admins\"><strong>Editing Admins<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To edit an Admin<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to the <a href=\"https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com.\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MTP<\/a>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the&nbsp;<strong>Administrators<\/strong>&nbsp;tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the Admin\u2019s&nbsp;<strong>Name<\/strong>&nbsp;in the list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the&nbsp;<strong>Details<\/strong>&nbsp;tab, modify the Admin&#8217;s information:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>First Name<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; The Admin&#8217;s first name.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Last Name<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; The Admin&#8217;s first name.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Administrator Email Address*&nbsp;<\/strong>&#8211; The Admin&#8217;s email address. This field is required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under&nbsp;<strong>Security<\/strong>, you can toggle&nbsp;<strong>Multi-Factor Authentication Not Required<\/strong>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<strong>Required<\/strong>.\n<ul>\n<li>When MFA is required for an MTP Admin account, the Admin will be required to provide a TOTP token with their account credentials when they log in to your MSP org\u2019s MTP.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You also have the option to <strong>Send TOTP Reset Email<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under&nbsp;<strong>Account Settings<\/strong>, you can see the status of the account (Active, Suspended)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can also:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Send Password Reset Email<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Suspend Account<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Restore Account&nbsp;<\/strong>(This option is only available for an account that is already suspended)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the&nbsp;<strong>Permissions &amp; Access&nbsp;<\/strong>tab, under&nbsp;<strong>Permissions<\/strong>, click the&nbsp;<strong>Role&nbsp;<\/strong>dropdown menu and select&nbsp;which role&nbsp;you want to assign to the Admin. See&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/manage-admin-roles-in-mtp\">Manage Admin Roles in the MTP<\/a> to learn more.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you want to give the admin API access, select the checkbox next to&nbsp;<strong>Enable API access<\/strong>. If it&#8217;s enabled and the Admin has generated a key, you&#8217;ll see the first four characters of the Admin\u2019s API key, and the date it was created as well. See&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/jumpcloud-apis\">JumpCloud API\u2019s<\/a>&nbsp;to learn more.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the&nbsp;<strong>Organization Access<\/strong>&nbsp;field, select the orgs you want to give your Admin access to.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Save<\/strong>. You can now view details for this Admin account on the&nbsp;<strong>Administrators<\/strong>&nbsp;tab.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-requiring-mfa-for-admin-s\"><strong>Requiring MFA for Admin<\/strong>s<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card note\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/note-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Note:<\/strong> \n<p>JumpCloud now requires MFA for all admins. The non-editable\u00a0<strong>Global MFA Requirement<\/strong>\u00a0setting can be viewed in the Admin Portal under\u00a0<strong>Settings<\/strong>\u00a0&gt;\u00a0<strong>Account<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-suspending-and-restoring-admin-accounts-in-the-mtp-nbsp\"><strong>Suspending and Restoring Admin Accounts in the MTP&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card note\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/note-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Note:<\/strong> \n<p>Before suspending an Admin account, see <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/suspend-and-reactivate-users\">Suspend and Reactivate User Accounts<\/a> to learn more.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To suspend an Admin account<\/strong>:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to the <a href=\"https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com.\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MTP<\/a>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the&nbsp;<strong>Administrators<\/strong>&nbsp;tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click an Admin from the list. The&nbsp;<strong>Edit Administrator<\/strong>&nbsp;side window displays.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under&nbsp;<strong>Account Settings<\/strong>,&nbsp;click&nbsp;<strong>Suspend Account<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card note\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/note-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Note:<\/strong> \n<p>This immediately removes the Admin&#8217;s access to the MTP while maintaining their date and configuration records.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>Confirm that you want to suspend the selected account, then click&nbsp;<strong>Suspend<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Save<\/strong>.&nbsp;The account appears as suspended in the Admins list.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To restore a suspended Admin account<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to the <a href=\"https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com.\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MTP<\/a>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the&nbsp;<strong>Administrators<\/strong>&nbsp;tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click an Admin from the list. The&nbsp;<strong>Edit Administrator&nbsp;<\/strong>side window displays.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under&nbsp;<strong>Account<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Settings<\/strong>,&nbsp;click&nbsp;<strong>Restore Account<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Confirm that you want to restore the selected Admin account, then click&nbsp;<strong>Restore<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Save<\/strong>.
