{"id":75794,"date":"2023-04-13T11:09:10","date_gmt":"2023-04-13T15:09:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/?post_type=support&#038;p=75794"},"modified":"2023-06-05T13:12:10","modified_gmt":"2023-06-05T17:12:10","slug":"integrate-syncro-psa-in-mtp","status":"publish","type":"support","link":"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/integrate-syncro-psa-in-mtp","title":{"rendered":"Integrate Syncro PSA in the MTP"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Syncro PSA integration in the JumpCloud Multi-Tenant Portal (MTP) allows Managed Service Provider (MSP) Admins to stay informed on their customers\u2019 product usage, along with being alerted on high priority actionable incidents in the MTP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Considerations:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Since JumpCloud uses the \u201cHigh Water-Mark\u201d for billing, the Quantity field on the line items in a recurring invoice on Syncro PSA will be updated with the current High Water-Mark for the month for the \u201cmapped\u201d JumpCloud Organization.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Updates occur daily at 12 PM EST, you may have to check back the next day for the integration to appear after it\u2019s been configured.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prerequisites:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>An Admin with Billing role is required to set up&nbsp;Integrations within the MTP.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A bearer (authorized API) Token from Syncro PSA, see\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/prepare-syncro-psa-for-integration-with-jumpcloud\">Prepare Syncro PSA for Integration in the MTP.<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Configure your Integration with JumpCloud.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Map JumpCloud organizations to Syncro PSA customers.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set up ticketing alerts for organizations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Configuring the Syncro PSA Integration with JumpCloud<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To configure the integration:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to your MTP:&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the\u00a0<strong>Integrations<\/strong>\u00a0tab.\n<ul>\n<li>This is only visible for the Admin with Billing role.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the Syncro PSA integration, click&nbsp;<strong>Configure<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You need the following information from your Syncro PSA account:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Subdomain*<\/strong>: You will find this on your URL to Syncro PSA MSP.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>API Token<\/strong>: The token you generated and saved from the previous section.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go back to your Syncro PSA account tab and copy the subdomain from the URL from the API token page. It should look something like this:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/subdomain.syncromsp.com\/api_tokens\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">subdomain.syncromsp.com\/api_tokens<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card note\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/note-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Note:<\/strong> \n<p>This is\u00a0<em>not<\/em>\u00a0the same as your username.\u00a0The subdomain refers to the part of the URL before\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/syncromsp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">syncromsp.com<\/a>, ex:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/yourdomain.syncromsp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/yourdomain.syncromsp.com<\/a><\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li>In your MTP, paste the subdomain into the\u00a0<strong>Subdomain*<\/strong>\u00a0field.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Copy\/Paste the API token that you generated and saved into the&nbsp;<strong>API Token<\/strong>&nbsp;field.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Verify and Save<\/strong>. JumpCloud will try connecting to your Syncro PSA instance. You\u2019ll either receive an &#8216;Integration has been created&#8217;&nbsp;notification and can continue to configure, or you\u2019ll receive an error message. Check the data you submitted and try again.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a><strong>Mapping a JumpCloud Organization to the Corresponding Syncro PSA Customer<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To map organizations and customers:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>After authenticating, click on the&nbsp;<strong>Customers<\/strong>&nbsp;tab. A list of all your JumpCloud Organizations will be ready to map to Syncro PSA Customers.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Configure<\/strong>\u00a0next to any of the Organizations, then under the Syncro PSA Customer dropdown menu, select the customer you\u2019d like to map to and click\u00a0<strong>Save<\/strong>.\n<ul>\n<li>If you created a new Customer in Syncro PSA and aren\u2019t seeing it in the dropdown menu, click Refresh Data from Syncro PSA to retrieve the most recent data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Continue this for all of the organizations and customers you need to map.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a><strong>Mapping Recurring Invoices<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card notification-card note\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/note-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><p><strong>Note:<\/strong> Invoice Line Items on your recurring invoices will be automatically updated in Syncro PSA with the High Water-Mark. This only applies to mapped customers and schedules.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To configure invoice line items:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Click on the&nbsp;<strong>Billing<\/strong>&nbsp;tab, then click&nbsp;<strong>Configure<\/strong>&nbsp;for the customer you\u2019d like to map recurring invoices for.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under the&nbsp;<strong>Recurring Invoice (Schedule)<\/strong>, click the dropdown menu and select a recurring invoice (schedule).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under\u00a0<strong>Line Item<\/strong>, click the dropdown menu and select an option.\n<ul>\n<li>If you created a new Customer in Syncro PSA and aren\u2019t seeing it in the dropdown menu, click Refresh Data from Syncro PSA to retrieve the most recent data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Save<\/strong>. Then continue this for all of the customers you need to map recurring invoices for.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To edit or disable a recurring invoice for a customer, click\u00a0<strong>Edit<\/strong>\u00a0and make your changes in the dropdown menus, then click\u00a0<strong>Save<\/strong>. Click\u00a0<strong>Disable<\/strong>\u00a0and confirm you want the invoice line item to be removed and no longer sync to Syncro PSA.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a><strong>Set Up Ticketing Alerts<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The types of Ticketing alerts currently available are:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Disk Encryption Key Decrypted<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>User Admin Access Granted<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>User Lockout<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>User Password Expired<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To set up Ticketing:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>After mapping, click on the&nbsp;<strong>Ticketing<\/strong>&nbsp;tab.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you want ticketing alerts, toggle the&nbsp;<strong>Automated Ticketing<\/strong>&nbsp;on. This will cause selected issues to automatically generate a ticket in your Syncro PSA. This only applies to mapped organizations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Edit<\/strong>&nbsp;next to any of the Alerts to configure and turn them on.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can toggle\u00a0<strong>Automatic Ticketing On<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong>Off<\/strong>\u00a0for specific alerts.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card notification-card note\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/note-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><p><strong>Note:<\/strong> All mapped customers will see the alerts that have been turned on.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>You can change the\u00a0<strong>Priority<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Issue Type<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Status<\/strong>, amount of\u00a0<strong>Days Due<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Tech Assigned To<\/strong>. You\u2019ll also need to toggle alerts on individually so that they generate tickets.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Save<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a><strong>Edit or Disable the Syncro PSA Configuration<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To edit or disable the configuration:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>On the&nbsp;<strong>Integrations<\/strong>&nbsp;page, click&nbsp;<strong>Edit<\/strong>&nbsp;on Syncro PSA to open it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you need to edit any of the mappings, click&nbsp;<strong>Customers<\/strong>, then click&nbsp;<strong>Edit<\/strong>&nbsp;next to the one you want to make changes to. Click&nbsp;<strong>Save<\/strong>&nbsp;when you\u2019re done.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you need to disable any of the companies, click\u00a0<strong>Disable<\/strong>\u00a0next to the Organization. You\u2019ll be prompted to confirm, and click\u00a0<strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card notification-card warning\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/warning-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><p><strong>Warning:<\/strong> Disabling will remove all mappings selected for that organization and will not sync the data daily. If you want to sync the data again, you\u2019ll need to re-configure the mappings.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>If you need to disable the entire configuration, open the Syncro PSA integration and click on the\u00a0<strong>Integrations<\/strong>\u00a0tab. At the bottom, click\u00a0<strong>Disable Integration &amp; Clear Data<\/strong>, you\u2019ll be prompted to confirm and click\u00a0<strong>Disable &amp; Clear<\/strong>. You\u2019ll receive an \u201cIntegration has been disabled\u201d notification.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card notification-card warning\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/warning-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><p><strong>Warning:<\/strong> This removes all data including Authentication, Customer mappings and Contract and Service data in JumpCloud.
