Symptoms<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
When configuring a device or application for use with JumpCloud RADIUS, users are not able to authenticate. E.g., Wi-Fi or VPN users are not able to connect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cause <\/h2>\n\n\n\n
This may be due to one or more reasons:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n
Misconfigured device\/application<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Configuration mismatch between the RADIUS record in JumpCloud and the device\/application<\/li>\n\n\n\n
User is not a member of a group granted access to JumpCloud RADIUS record<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Misconfigured client<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Network problems<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Incorrect credentials<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

Note:<\/strong> JumpCloud RADIUS servers do not respond to ICMP, so ping will not respond if you attempt a basic availability check.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
