The list given under the <strong>Configuration<\/strong> section should be used for all RADIUS apps and\/or devices. Update any app and\/or device using RADIUS with the IPs listed on this page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card note\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/note-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Note:<\/strong> \n<p>This help article is to be used in conjunction with <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/radius-configuration-and-authentication\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RADIUS Configuration and Authentication<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prerequisites:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Device or service endpoint that supports RADIUS and either EAP-PEAP\/MSCHAPv2 or EAP-TTLS\/PAP authentication methods.\u00a0 Simple PAP may also be used, but we highly recommend you use a more secure authentication protocol such as EAP-PEAP\/MSCHAPv2 or EAP-TTLS\/PAP<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Port 1812\/UDP to our RADIUS service endpoints (RADIUS Accounting on 1813 is not supported)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If using EAP-TTLS (we suggest most users use EAP-PEAP\/MSCAHAPv2 as setup is easier), update the <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/update-radius-certificates-for-eap-ttls-systems\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">JumpCloud RADIUS server certificate<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Shared Secret from the JumpCloud RADIUS Server configuration in JumpCloud Admin Portal.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-configuration\">Configuration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The following is general information for setting up RADIUS on a device or service endpoint. Please refer to your vendor&#8217;s documentation for specific configuration details, or for a specific example, see <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/configure-cisco-meraki-wap-to-use-cloud-radius\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Configure a Cisco Meraki WAP to Use Cloud RADIUS<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-new-radius-ip-addresses\">New RADIUS IP Addresses<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card important\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/important-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Important:<\/strong> \n<ul>\n<li>Beginning<strong> February 6, 2025<\/strong> JumpCloud\u2019s RADIUS service supports AnyCast Routing.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There will now only be <strong>two<\/strong> IP addresses used in the configuration regardless of region.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>AnyCast will automatically route RADIUS requests to the JumpCloud RADIUS server nearest to the device or service endpoint sending the request.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Configure either IP address as the primary or backup address.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n notification-card important\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/important-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Important:<\/strong> \n<ul>\n<li>When transitioning to the new AnyCast IP addresses, TLSv1.0 and TLSv1.1 will <strong>not support <\/strong>RADIUS requests to JumpCloud.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use your networking equipment vendor\u2019s monitoring and administration tools to help discover any devices on your network still attempting to authenticate with TLSv1.0\/v1.1.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If any devices are still using the obsolete TLSv1.0 or TSLv1.1 protocol for RADIUS authentication, update them to <strong>at least TLS version 1.2<\/strong> as soon as possible.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must enable these device updates before transitioning to the new AnyCast IP addresses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-testing-the-connection\"><strong>Testing the connection<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Authenticate using the JumpCloud username and password, or email address and password.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Test the authentication directly from the device (If supported).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-debugging\">Debugging<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For more
