See&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/set-up-apple-mdm\">Manage Apple Devices with MDM<\/a>&nbsp;and follow the MDM enrollment process for agent installation on macOS.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prerequisites:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Root or admin access<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/agent-compatibility-system-requirements-and-impacts\">Agent Compatibility, System Requirements, and Impacts<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Internet connectivity and time synchronization<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>JumpCloud Installer (Windows)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A connect key:\n<ul>\n<li>In the Admin Portal, go to&nbsp;<strong>Devices<\/strong>. Click ( <strong>+<\/strong> ), and click the <strong>Windows<\/strong> tab for the connect key.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Windows<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Silent Install<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/raw.githubusercontent.com\/TheJumpCloud\/support\/master\/scripts\/windows\/InstallWindowsAgent.ps1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">This PowerShell script<\/a>&nbsp;can be used to download and install the JumpCloud agent and its dependencies silently.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To run unattended, pass in the parameter&nbsp;<code>-JumpCloudConnectKey<\/code>&nbsp;when calling the script.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To run the&nbsp;manual silent install:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Download the installer manually or&nbsp;use the&nbsp;PowerShell&nbsp;script. See <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/install-or-reinstall-the-agent-with-powershell\">Install or Reinstall the Agent with PowerShell<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Change to the directory where the installer resides.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Run either of the following commands depending on if you are running command line or PowerShell:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>For Command Line:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-code-block code-block\"><div class=\"code-block-snippet is-type-body-default\">\n<p>msiexec \/i \u201c&lt;path to file&gt;\\&lt;msi name&gt;.msi\u201d \/quiet JCINSTALLERARGUMENTS=\u201d-k YOUR_CONNECT_KEY_HERE \/VERYSILENT \/SUPPRESSMSGBOXES\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>For PowerShell:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-code-block code-block\"><div class=\"code-block-snippet is-type-body-default\">\n<p>msiexec \/i \u201c&lt;path to file&gt;\\&lt;msi name&gt;.msi\u201d \/quiet JCINSTALLERARGUMENTS=`\u201d-k YOUR_CONNECT_KEY_HERE \/VERYSILENT \/SUPPRESSMSGBOXES`\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Common Command Line Options<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><code>-k&nbsp;<em>YOUR_CONNECT_KEY_HERE<\/em><\/code>&nbsp;allows you to set your connect key for unattended installations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><code>\/SILENT&nbsp;<\/code>displays the installer GUI, but walks through the steps automatically. It will prompt you if you wish to reboot now, when the install is complete.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><code>\/VERYSILENT<\/code>&nbsp;hides the installer GUI and walks through the steps automatically. It will&nbsp;automatically reboot&nbsp;after it finishes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><code>\/NORESTART<\/code>&nbsp;prevents setup from restarting the device following a successful installation. This command is typically used&nbsp;with&nbsp;<code>\/SILENT<\/code>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<code>\/VERYSILENT<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><code>\/SUPPRESSMSGBOXES<\/code>&nbsp;answers&nbsp;<strong>yes<\/strong>&nbsp;to any installation dependencies, such as MFC redistributables.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To show all command line options available for Windows, use <code>\/help<\/code>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Linux<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to the system as a sudoer or root.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Run this command:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-code-block code-block\"><div class=\"code-block-snippet is-type-body-default\">\n<p>curl &#8211;tlsv1.2 &#8211;silent &#8211;show-error &#8211;header &#8216;x-connect-key: YOUR_CONNECT_KEY_HERE&#8217;&nbsp;https:\/\/kickstart.jumpcloud.com\/Kickstart&nbsp;| sudo bash<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card tip\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/tip-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Tip:<\/strong> \n<p>You can also copy this command directly from the JumpCloud Admin Portal.
