Admins can configure and deploy custom MDM policies to Windows devices to meet specific needs that are not covered by JumpCloud\u2019s existing MDM policy library. Open Mobile Alliance Uniform Resource Identifier (OMA URI) is used in MDM to configure settings and manage devices through policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To create a Custom MDM (OMA URI) policy<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Log in to the JumpCloud Admin Portal<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Go to DEVICE MANAGEMENT<\/strong> > Policy Management<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. In the All<\/strong> tab, click (+<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. On the New Policy<\/strong> panel, select the Windows<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Search and select Custom MDM (OMA URI) Policy<\/strong><\/strong> from the list, then click configure<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. (Optional) In the Policy Name<\/strong> field, enter a new name for the policy or keep the default. Policy names must be unique.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. (Optional) In the Policy Notes<\/strong> field, enter details like when you created the policy, where you tested it, and where you deployed it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. In the Settings <\/strong>section, enter the details as required. For more information, see Group OMA-URI entires by AreaName<\/a>.\n
