JumpCloud provides a policy to allow IT Admins to restrict these Intelligence features on MDM-enrolled and managed mobile devices. Read this article to learn about the settings configurable in the Restrict Apple Intelligence for iOS &amp; iPadOS policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card tip\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/tip-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Tip:<\/strong> \n<p>To create a Restrict Apple Intelligence policy on macOS, see <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/create-a-mac-policy-to-restrict-apple-intelligence\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Create a Mac Policy to Restrict Apple Intelligence<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prerequisites<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>MDM is configured for your org and the device is enrolled in MDM.\n<ul>\n<li>Devices must be enrolled through device enrollment or automated device enrollment; this policy is not supported for devices enrolled through user enrollment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Devices must run iOS\/iPadOS 18+.\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>Disable Mail Summary<\/strong> is supported on iOS\/iPadOS 18.1+.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To create a Restrict Apple Intelligence policy on iOS\/iPadOS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to the <a href=\"https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com\/login\">JumpCloud Admin Portal<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to <strong>DEVICE MANAGEMENT<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Policy Management<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>All<\/strong> tab, click (<strong>+<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the <strong>New Policy<\/strong> panel, select the <strong>iOS<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the Restrict Apple Intelligence policy from the list, then click <strong>configure<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under <strong>Settings<\/strong>, configure any or all of the following options:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Disable Writing Tools<\/strong> &#8211; Select this option to disable Apple Intelligence writing tools.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Disable Genmoji <\/strong>&#8211; Select this option to restrict the creation of new Genmoji.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Disable Image Playground<\/strong> &#8211; Select this option to restrict the use of image generation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Disable Image Wand<\/strong> &#8211; Select this option to prevent use of the Image Wand.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Disable Personalized Handwriting<\/strong> &#8211; Select this option to prevent the device from generating text in the user&#8217;s handwriting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Disable Mail Summary <\/strong>&#8211; Select this option to turn off the ability to manually create email summaries.\n<ul>\n<li>Note this setting is only applicable to devices on iOS 18.1+.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the&nbsp;<strong>Device Groups<\/strong>&nbsp;tab and select one or more device groups where you\u2019ll apply this policy. For device groups with multiple OS member types, the policy is applied only to the supported OS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the&nbsp;<strong>Devices<\/strong>&nbsp;tab and select one or more devices where you\u2019ll apply this policy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>save<\/strong>.
