Configuring the SSO Integration<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

- Replace any instances of YOUR_DOMAIN and YOUR_TUNNEL_GROUP with your Cisco ASA values.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Add or change any attributes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Click save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
Download the certificate<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

- Find your application in the Configured Applications<\/strong> list and click anywhere in the row to reopen its configuration window.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

Install the JumpCloud SSO certificate<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

- Log in to your Cisco ASA as an administrator via ASDM.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Navigate to Configuration<\/strong> > Device Management<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- From the navigation bar, click Certificate Management<\/strong> ><\/strong> CA Certificates<\/strong> and click Add<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- In the Install Certificate<\/strong><\/strong> section, enter the following information:\n

- Trustpoint name<\/strong> – enter a unique name<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Install from file<\/strong> – browse to and select the certificate downloaded in the previous section<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Click Install Certificate<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
Cisco AnyConnect connection profile configuration<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
- \n
- Select the Configuration<\/strong> tab and click Remote Access VPN<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- From the left navigation bar, click Network (Client) Access<\/strong> and then select AnyConnect Connection Profiles<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- In the Connection Profiles<\/strong> section, select the Tunnel Group that you want to configure for SSO and click Edit<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- In the Authentication<\/strong> section, click the Method<\/strong> drop down and select SAML<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- In the SAML Identity Provider<\/strong> section, click on Manage<\/strong> button. In Configure SSO Servers SAML, click Add<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Enter the following information:\n

- IDP Entity ID<\/strong> – copy and paste the JumpCloud IdP Entity ID<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Sign In URL<\/strong> – copy and paste the JumpCloud IDP URL<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Sign Out URL<\/strong> – enter https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com\/userconsole<\/kbd> (this will return users to the JumpCloud user console when they log out)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Base URL<\/strong> – select\u00a0https<\/strong> and enter the URL of your Cisco ASA that users use to connect their VPN. Ensure that this URL is resolvable<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Identity Provider Certificate<\/strong> – select the Jumpcloud certificate uploaded in the previous section\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Service Provider Certificate<\/strong> – select ASA Certificate<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Request Timeout<\/strong> – enter\u00a0180<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Click\u00a0OK<\/strong><\/strong>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Back on the Edit Connection Profile<\/strong><\/strong> page, click OK<\/strong> to save the profile configuration and then click Apply<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
Authorizing User SSO Access<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Users are implicitly denied access to applications. After you connect an application to JumpCloud, you need to authorize user access to that application. You can authorize user access from the Application Configuration<\/strong> panel or from the Groups Configuration<\/strong> panel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
To authorize user access from the Application Configuration panel<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
- \n
- Log in to the <\/a>JumpCloud Admin Portal<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Go to USER AUTHENTICATION > SSO<\/strong> Applications<\/strong>, then select the application to which you want to authorize user access.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Select the User Groups<\/strong> tab. If you need to create a new group of users, see Get Started: User Groups<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Select the check box next to the group of users you want to give access.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Click save<\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

Validating SSO user authentication workflow(s)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

- Go to\u00a0Applications<\/strong> and click an application tile to launch it<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- JumpCloud asserts the user’s identity to the SP and is authenticated without the user having to log in to the application<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
SP-initiated<\/strong> user workflow<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

- Go\u00a0to the SP application login – generally, there is either a special link or an adaptive username field that detects the user is authenticated through SSO<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<\/p><\/div>Note:<\/strong> \n

Removing the SSO Integration<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

- Select the SSO <\/strong>tab and click IDP Certificate Valid > Download certificate<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
- Select the SSO<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
