macOS 13 Ventura is right around the corner. JumpCloud is happy to support macOS Ventura on its release day! We\u2019re very excited for this new release of Apple\u2019s flagship platform OS. We have spent the summer preparing for the release of Ventura, and we\u2019re excited to see it ship. However, some organizations may not be ready for macOS Ventura on Day One, and we have some guidance on how you can delay its install on your devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Whether it\u2019s a feature of the OS, or key software that isn\u2019t yet certified for the new OS, sometimes you need to delay the release of a new major upgrade to macOS. JumpCloud offers you an MDM policy to Delay Major OS Upgrades Policy<\/strong> for enrolled devices for such a use case, and a Block macOS Ventura App Installer Policy<\/strong> to prevent the full installer from running on your devices with the JumpCloud agent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n This provides two ways for Mac Admins using JumpCloud to prevent the install of macOS 13 Ventura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
